Kaleidoscope Live Event Series

Kaleidoscope Live! 2024 marked a milestone as the first in-person gathering for a program that had previously been entirely virtual. Designed to strengthen the BIPOC journalism ecosystem, the event aimed to foster deeper relationships, provide direct support to grantees, and connect them with new funders. This multi-day summit focused on advancing sustainability in journalism, facilitating policy discussions, and creating opportunities for economic growth; centering Black, Indigenous, and people of color in journalism while building long-term impact.

Bridging the Gap from Virtual to In-Person Connection

To successfully transition Kaleidoscope Live! from a virtual format to an immersive in-person experience, Style Perfect Events developed a strategic event framework that prioritized engagement, accessibility, and impact. We designed a balanced agenda that seamlessly integrated professional development sessions, funder discussions, and wellness-driven activities like yoga and pottery workshops to encourage community-building. Our team meticulously managed all logistical elements, including venue coordination, transportation, catering, and AV, ensuring flawless execution. We also took the lead on brand development and graphic design, crafting a cohesive visual identity that resonated with attendees. Additionally, we developed a robust registration platform that facilitated a seamless check-in experience, reinforcing an efficient and professional event environment.
